MTB Kerala – "Fun & Thrill Challenge" is a two days event on 20^th & 21^st December 2019 offering amateur MTB cycling lovers and die heart to participate and win MTB Amateur Championship conducted as part of MTB Kerala, 6^th Edition at Wayanad.

The aim of two days cycling championship is to provide opportunity to all cyclists to be the part of UCI approved MTB Kerala race and win attractive prizes. Fun & Thrill Challenge will have separate category for Men & Women. Participants who reach in first 25 positions in the qualifying round on 20^th December will be selected for the MTB Amateur Championship on 21^st December 2019. The first three winners of Fun & Thrill Challenge will be given cash prize.

The first three positions in Fun & Thrill Challenge will qualify for the MTB National Category Championship on 22^nd December 2019.

a) Who can participate?

Amateur Cyclists from different clubs / communities

b) How to register

Participants can register online at MTB Kerala website, www.mtbkerala.com
Registration will be starting on 5^th - 10^th December 2019

Qualifying rounds: 20^th December 2019
MTB Kerala Fun & Thrill Challenge: 21^st December 2019

d) Entries

For Men:Total entries limited to 100 on first come first serve basis
For Women: Total entries limited to 25 on first come first serve basis

Registration fee: Rs.1,000/- per cyclist

g) Qualification round

A 38 kms road cycling competition will be conducted to qualify for the MTB Race. Qualification round will be conducted on 20^th December 2019. Participants who reach in first 25 positions will qualify for the MTB Kerala Fun & Thrill Challenge on 21^st December 2019.
There is NO qualification round for women category.

h) Reporting details

Reporting point: Priyadarshini Tea Environs, Mananthavady, Wayanad district
Reporting time: 10:00 AM

i) Conditions for the MTB Kerala Fun & Thrill Challenge:

• Registration will be on first come first serve basis
• Participants must bring their own MTB cycles & safety equipments
• Only one cycle is allowed per participant
• Only amateur cyclist can register for the MTB Fun & Thrill Challenge
• Medals and certificate for the winners will be distributed at the closing ceremony on 22nd December. Cash prize will be distributed within three weeks after the closing of the event
• All participants must sign a Disclaimer agreeing that they themselves are responsible for their own safety and the organizers of the event are not in any way be responsible for any accident, loss, damage etc to personnel and equipments which may occur during the course of the 3 days event
• Persons having medical problems / cardiac problems , pregnancy etc shall not be participate the event
• Once paid, the registration fee will not be refunded
• The decisions of the judges are final
• Accommodation facilities will be offered at discount rate. Participants can book directly with the hotels at discounted rate or book their own arrangements

10:00-11:00: Registration & briefing
11:00-11:15: Tea break
11:30-14:00: MTB Fun & Thrill challenge qualifying rounds
(38 kms road cycling is the criteria for qualifying the Fun & Thrill Challenge. Top 25 positions will qualify for the MTB Track finals
14:00-15:00: Lunch at the venue
15:00-16:00: Free time at the venue
16:00-16:15: Tea break
17:00-18:30: Cultural program

Day 02: Saturday, 21^st December 2019:
08:00: Fun & Thrill Challenge MTB racing finals
08:00: Report at Priyadarshini Tea Environs at Mananthavady
08:15- 09:15: Warm up & preparations for the competition
09:15: Line up for the race
09:30: Flag Off
09:30-12:00: MTB Kerala Fun & Thrill Challenge race at the UCI Track
13:00-14:00: Lunch
14:00-15:00: Interaction with overseas cyclists and group photo
16:00-16:30: Tea & refreshments
17:00-18:30: Cultural program

Day 03: 22^nd December 2019:
The top three winners in the MTB Kerala Fun & Thrill Challenge can participate the "MTB Kerala National Championship"
Rest of the cyclist can watch the championship
13:00 - 14:00 Lunch at the venue
15:00 - 16:00 Prize & certificate distribution
16:00 - 16:30: Tea & refreshments
